Obesity is becoming a bigger and bigger issue every day. I was once a factor in those statistics. After failing diet after diet, I finally realized that the secret isnt just in the diet. I want to share a couple things that could change your view on dieting.
The severity of obesity is truly reaching dangerous levels. More than 3.8 million Americans weigh in at over 300 lbs! About 400 thousand of these people hit the scale at more than 400 lbs!
If it were as simple as just being an issue of not liking the way you look, then these numbers wouldnt be a terrible thing, but unfortunately, that isnt the case.
Did you know that being heavier makes you more likely to succumb to heart disease, have strokes, or even get cancer.
Now that you know the facts, its time to take this seriously
Lets get into the tips. The best way is to take all of them into consideration and see what you can do with them. Theyre all pretty easy to accomplish but will help you in leaps and bounds.
The first thing I want to share, is this amazing thing called water. Dont like the taste? Too bad. Find a water brand (or tap) that you like and gobble it down like Cookie Monster eats cookies.
Water is absolutely the best thing you can put into your body. It doesnt bring anything bad with it. Your body will use every bit of the nutrition the water brings with it and wont leave any of it behind.
The more you drink, the better youll feel. Its not like a soda or juice, where if you drink 2 gallons of it in a day youll feel terrible in the morning. Drink 2 gallons of water tomorrow and then tell me how you feel the next day.
Youll feel great, I promise.
The second thing to make mention of here is that we need to eat more!
Well Kind of. Dont eat more, but you need to eat more frequently. Continue eating the same amount that you normally would, just eat it in smaller doses throughout the day.
But why does this work? Its your metabolism. A lot of people talk about how their metabolism isnt as good as it used to be. How do you know? Test it out and see just how great it can be.
If you only feed your body when its starving, its going to learn that it needs to store every calorie you put down there, so it learns to save and store everything you give it.
If you teach your body that it gets nurtured frequently, it isnt going ever going to hesitate in burning all the calories and fat in your food the second you eat it. Source
